About Me

I've always loved creating. It started when I was very young, getting out the 'making things', -old tissue boxes, loo rolls and lots of glue. I still enjoy using discarded materials such as litter collected on a beach in Portugal which I then brought together in a painting created from the sketches and photographs I took while there. 

I love colour, like the yellows, oranges and blues of autumn. I find the natural world inspiring, with its constant changing patterns, colours and forms, which I try to bring into my portraits and projects.

I use a range of materials and media including Photography, textiles, painting, drawing and ceramics. Each day I like to experiment with using new materials and processes to create my work, I particularly enjoy mixing paint, textiles and clay to create 3D sculptures.
